This is 4th version of Raspberry Pi based Rover project. most recent version. 🙂

 

In this project, we can see things via Raspberry Pi camera and can move it via Servo motors.

 

Moreover, User Interface is rectangle type touch area on browser where you can control Rover.

Please note that if you buy the kit, the included micro SD card has already pre-made image in it.

so you don't need to do anything. just insert it and play.

Prepare RaspberryPi

 

Once your Raspberry Pi is ready,

 

1. update and upgrade
2. pip installation
3. flask installation
4. git installation & git clone repo
5. Enable pi cam and test
6. Install Motion
7. Configure Motion
8. Test your motion service installation
9. Run script and test

We're going to make some music with domestic food like fruits and Raspberry Pi!

 

What we need

 

In this project, you might be able to get better result with your own soldering skills, but still possible to make it without soldering. just connect wires properly between point to point and then works!

We should prepare Raspberry Pi and need to install necessary packages on it before wiring chips.

Prepare RaspberryPi

 

Once you finished preparation of Raspberry Pi, we're ready to install additional packages.

 

1.Update and Upgrade

2.Prepare I2C communications

3.Check/Edit Modules and Boot configuration

4.Install Pygame

5.Check / Confirm I2C

6.Get Python codes from Git

 

Now, Raspberry Pi's ready to play with your touches.

In my case, I've made a box for placing a series of fruit on it in this project. 

This can be done with anything such as wood, hard-board, plastic and what ever. 

It's totally up to you!

Once you're prepared your favorite fruits, just connect each cable to them!

 

Now, we just built our own small machine to play funny sounds. Let's Enjoy!
